Emily Horowitz, PsyD, is a New York based clinical psychologist who has been in practice since 2007. Emily specializes in treatment of PTSD and Complex PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders among a wide variety of populations including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+. Emily was employed by the Department Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 15 years and is currently in full-time private practice.

She was trained by MAPS in 2016 and worked as a study therapist for their phase 3 clinical trials for 7 years. Her practice specializes in using medicine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration work to treat PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, OCD, eating disorders, existential issues, and more. Emily also works with sound meditation instruments and other shamanic techniques to help clients access non-ordinary states of consciousness for deep healing, transformation and growth.
