Wende is first and foremost a therapist, with over 25 years experience in individual and group therapy in a variety of settings including community mental health, residential treatment, mobile crisis and private practice. Wende specializes in the treatment of trauma-related disorders and mood disorders.

Currently working full-time at Cedar Clinical Research, a Numinus company, Wende is the Process Lead for therapists on psychedelic clinical trials for a number of indications. Current study sponsors include Mind Med, Reunion, Cybin, Transcend, atai and Usona.

As a research therapist and project manager on the MAPS/ Lykos sponsored MDMA Assisted Therapy for PTSD studies from 2017-2023 she developed a passion for the developing field of psychedelic-assisted therapies.

She’s trained in Ketamine Assisted Therapy and offers psychedelic integration counseling.
