Jamie Beachy, MDiv, PhD, is a spiritual health educator, ethics consultant, and psychedelic therapy practitioner. She was a sub-investigator for MAPS Phase 3 clinical trials in Boulder, Colorado, researching the safety and efficacy of MDMA-assisted therapy for the treatment of PTSD and approved as a consultant/supervisor, offering consultation for practitioners training in MDMA-Assisted therapy.

Dr. Beachy developed graduate level course offerings and curricula related to psychedelic therapies as Director of Education and Faculty Co-founder of Naropa University’s Center for Psychedelic Studies. An advocate for the integration of spiritual health and psychedelic care, she co-founded the Psychedelic Care Research Network through the Transforming Chaplaincy initiative and has spoken broadly on the role of professional spiritual care in psychedelic therapy. Additionally, she serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines.

Certified in CBCT® (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training), a program developed at the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics at Emory University, Dr. Beachy seeks to integrate insights from contemplative practice into emerging psychedelic therapy best practice as a field scholar for the Emory Center for Psychedelics and Spirituality.
