Seema Desai, M.D., is board-certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, with a clinical interest in the intersection of spirituality and psychiatry. She offers psychopharmacology treatment as well as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in her private practice in New York.

Seema has extensive experience in psychedelic research, education, and clinical practice. She has served as a study therapist in research examining psilocybin-assisted therapy for depression and existential anxiety in people with end-stage cancer, as well as MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD. She is trained as an Associate MDMA-Assisted Therapy Consultant and Supervisor through MAPS and is a trainer at Fluence. She facilitates ketamine-assisted therapy groups and retreat experiences in the Hudson Valley. Seema has taught on topics of mindfulness, wellness and psychedelics in various academic and clinical settings.
